Etna Volunteer Fire Department

The Etna Volunteer Fire Department's apparatus is owned entirely by the Department. Each unit was purchased using loans, charity donations, yearly fund drive, and the Fugh Foundation.

149 Engine is a 1984 Pierce Dash with a 1000 GPM 2-stage Waterous pump and a 500 gallon tank. This unit was refurbished in 2001 where it received a new paint job, lighting package and hydraulic ladder lift.

149 Rescue is a 1998 E-One Rescue/Pumper that provides fire, rescue, QRS and Rapid Intervention Team services. This unit is equipped with a 1250 GPM singe stage Hale pump with a 500 gallon tank. While splitting at the seams with equipment, it is well sized for our small borough streets.

In addition to our fleet of vehicles, we also utilize a utility trailer which carries various submersible sump pumps, large trash pumps, an assortment of hoses and hard suction for each. We also have a Jet-Ski, Zodiac boat and two aluminum row boats.
